Announcing UNLEASH Hack Somalia: Innovating for Climate Action and Sustainability

We are thrilled to announce the launch of UNLEASH Hack Somalia, an exciting event designed to harness the creativity and ingenuity of young innovators to tackle some of the most pressing environmental and sustainability challenges facing Somalia today. This hackathon, hosted by the ICE Institute at SIMAD University, will focus on developing solutions aligned with several key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a particular emphasis on climate action, life below water, life on land, and Responsible Consumption and Production.

UNLEASH Hack Somalia is part of the broader UNLEASH Lab initiative, a global innovation platform that unites young leaders to create impactful solutions for the United Nations’ SDGs. Since its inception in 2017, UNLEASH has been a driving force in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, bringing together talented individuals from around the world to address real-world problems through collaboration and creativity.

This year, UNLEASH Hack Somalia will gather local talents to develop scalable and implementable solutions that can make a significant impact on Somalia’s environmental and social landscape.

Objectives of UNLEASH Hack Somalia
